The World of Playing Cards is the leading online resource for information to collectors and researchers on playing card design, manufacture and history. The website was established in 1997 and now has over 800 pages.

It might not be obvious but most of the world's history can be traced using playing cards, through time playing cards have always been taken to newly discovered lands and historians can follow the movements of man from how card designs have spread. There's a vast wealth of information on many cultures and local history to be learnt through playing cards.

The work for the World of Playing Cards included design as well as back-end PHP and JavaScript programming. In addition to this I extensively analysed visitor statistics to offer insight and improvements for the overall performance of the website and also helped plan future advertising strategies.
